Manti Trip

A group of singles wards combined to take a day trip to Manti this last Saturday. It was so nice to take break from homework! We had 2 charter buses, we left early in the morning and stopped at Cove Fort on the way up. Then we did a temple session when we got to Manti, which was amazing! Then we ate dinner, walked around town-taking silly pictures. And went to the Manti Pageant that night, and then headed home! It was fun to play and be silly with the friends!

Summertime...

Wow! It has been a busy couple of weeks! I had memorial day off before my Summer classes started for my Master's Degree. I am taking 4 classes this summer and 3 of them will be finished by July 1st. So I'm hoping just to survive the month of June! :) I have fit in the social too- that is a must :). This week I went wakeboarding with Amy and Jayson on Monday night! I love the Lake! We took our friends Amy Nef, Daimen, and Skyler with us. We had lots of fun! Tuesday, after class, I went up to Salt Lake to go to Marshall and Nicole's Wedding! Yeah! Both of which are my really good friends. Marshall and I have been friends since high school, and Nicole and I were roommates a few years ago when she lived in St. George. I am so happy for them. They got married in the Salt Lake Temple. I went to the temple and the luncheon and then I had to attend my class up in Salt Lake that day (which is broadcast). I stayed with my old roomie Cami, so it was fun to see her, but Wednesday night we both did homework-fun huh. Then I drove home on Thursday morning. It was a quick trip. But when I was driving home on Thrusday- there was SNOW in Beaver! It's June-- not December! So I had to take a pic to share with you! So that is a little taste of my craziness right now! Life is great, it just doesn't seem to slow down! :)

My little sister Andee married Steve Ott. The wedding was great- only a little bit of rain, thank goodness! Everything was beautiful! My sister Julie planned and did the decorating and all of us other sisters were the helpers! It turned out amazing! :) It was fun to have our family all working togther. Here are a few snapshots!

Friday night, I went on blind date! Those are always fun! At least my friend Nicole got to come and go with his friend. We went to the Beach Boys Concert! So much fun! School ended on Friday! I'm going to miss my cute kids, but I love summertime! :) Talk about a crazy weekend!

Unexpected... but Exciting!

Out with the old and in with the New...

Ok, so this was totally unexpected and random but this week I bought a new Car! :) I really wasn't planning on doing it soon, maybe in the next year. Monday night, I asked my brother-in law, Kaulin, about a Camry (he sells cars) and he said he had one right now. My mom said it sounded Perfect after we had talked about it that night and said I should get it. (I had only seen pictures at this point). Then Wednesday night I test drove it and bought it on Friday. I feel like this week has been a whirlwind! :) It is fun to have a new car, but it kind of feels surreal.

Wow, time flies! This week is the last week of this school year! I can't believe how fast this school year flew by! I am going to miss my cute kids, but I am excited for summer too! I went to the Lake yesterday with Amy and Jayson and had my first Wakeboarding experienc of the season! I didn't get pics :( but I will next time! I love summertime and being outside!

Crazy Weekend

Oh man! I am exhausted! This weekend was crazy busy, but it was so much fun too! My body is telling me to slow down and get more sleep, but who wants to to that when you are having fun! Here is a picture of my card display at the Expo! It was so much fun to be with the girls! We took a picture of all of us, so I'll have to get that on here later. We did really well and had lots of fun! And I got to see lots of my friends who came to the Expo! Thanks to those who stopped by! :)

In the middle of the Expo on Saturday, The family threw my sister Andee her Bridal Shower. She is getting married on May 24th to Steve Ott. We are so excited for them! It has been crazy around here with all the wedding planning, but fun too! Here are a few pics from the shower!

What Women Want Expo... May 2nd & 3rd

Julie Thompson, Camille Jennings, and I are selling stuff at the What Women Want Expo next weekend! You can check Julie's and Camille's blog to see thier cute stuff. I will be selling my hand crafted cards! I love that Julie has inspired me to keep doing something crafty amongst my busy crazy life! I am FINALLY done with this semester of school!!! I will have a few weeks off until summer school starts. If any out of towners are interested in cards email me and let me know! :) I am excited for the Expo, it will be lots of fun!

My Heaven on Earth...

Ok, so I absolutely love chocolate and I love strawberries, so when they come in a package deal I am super excited! Last week somtime my roommate Annie and I made these chocolate strawberry parfaits. They were so so yummy! All you need is instant chocolate pudding, strawberries, raspberries, crumbled up oreo cookies, and some cool whip! :) It was DELICIOUS! And speaking of other things that I love--Ultimate Frisbee!!! Ok I know I'm a dork, but I love ultimate! I have played with different friends throughout the years and I love it! We play on Wednesday nights if anyone is interested! :)
