Happy Thanksgiving

Sad that I didn't end up taking any pictures on Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful day and I love thinking about all the many things I am thankful for in my life. The night before thanksgiving, I went down to Vegas to pick up my friend Shandra. She flew in from Pheonix and we went out to PF Changs for dinner. It is one of my favorite places to eat! And then on Friday I went back to Vegas for some Shopping! I went with Shanna and Kelsey and we shopped until we dropped! I'll have to get a picture from Shanna of all of our shopping bags when we were done. We drove in Shanna's truck and we all three had to ride in the front seat on the way home because the back seat was full to the brim with shopping bags, it was great! And the best part is we are pretty much ready for Christmas! What a fun girls day we had. Today has been wonderful to have a day to run errands and do homework, I love having a few days off of work :). I've got to get started on my Christmas cards, now that Thanksgiving is over!

Jubilee of Trees

So after being harassed by two of my friends :), I guess I need to update my blog! I can say that this month has been super busy and crazy. Work and homework are enough to keep me on my toes, but then you throw in the social life and everything else. :) Last night a bunch of my friends did a group date, we played three legged soccer- it was a blast! Life is good, just super super busy, but I am super exicted for the holidays coming up! Christmas is my favorite! :)

So on this last Friday, we took our first graders on a field trip to the Jubilee of Trees. It was so much fun to walk around and see all of the fun Christmas trees. The first graders helped make some of the ornaments and two of my wonderful room moms helped put everything together and make it look fantastic! Thanks Lyndi and Mandi :). Our field trip turned out great!

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween! This week has been jam packed with fun nights! Monday night we had a combined singles activity-Halloween dance. This pictures is of Nicole, Chelsey, and I. It was a great night. Everyone dressed up and had a blast dancing our hearts out! Tuesday night we watched a scary movie- ahhh! Probably not the best thing.

On Halloween, we had a great class party at school thanks to my wonderful room moms! I couldn't ask for better ones! We had fun games and then the whole school had a parade. If you want to check out cute pictures of my students go to Lyndi Dunlavy's Blog to check them out. I have great students and they were so cute on Halloween :). Later that night I went to my parents ward Trunk-or-Treat to see my adorable niece and nephew. Here is Rushton and Paige- our Super Kids!

Fun Projects

I love having a few days off of work! Fall Break has been great this week. Sadly enough, I wasn't able to go to California with my family, but I have had some good times at home. Besides writing papers and doing homework, yesterday was a day to play. Amy, Sara, and I went shopping and decided to make wreaths. This was a new adventure for me. This is my project for the day, since I am a project girl and love to make things! It was great to spend the day with friends!

Family Time

I love spending time with my family! They make me so happy. Sunday nights are the best night of the week. All of the family who is in town usually gathers at Mom and Dad's house for a yummy homemade dinner and some great times together. We catch up and have fun. I love to see my cute neice and nephew. Rushton is 4 and Paige is 6 months old (and they are in Grandma's lap-the best place to be). This picture is a quick snap shot I took on my phone. They are both looking up at Alisha (mom), but I thought it was adorable. My family is wonderful, and I'm super excited for the holidays. Christmas is my favorite!
