My Life...

Here is an update on my life since Maui... it has been quite eventful and busy! :)
This is june from the bottom up! Just keep on scrolling- sorry its long! For the fourth of July I went up to Pinto to Amy's Cabin and spent the day with her cute family! It was so nice and relaxing up there. I had to keep avoiding the water balloons- thanks to Jayson. The kids played in the water and it was just lots of fun! I love spending time with the Hafen's-- my second family. Then I ate dinner with Alisha and Jer and the kids! Then my friends gathered to watch the fireworks at the park.

I went to Salt Lake for the weekend and spent some time with good friends and helped Cherie move up there! It was a great weekend. I played lots with Cami and met lots of fun people up there. We saw an awesome fireworks show in Taylorsville! I visited Nicole (Marshall was at work) and she cut my hair! :) She ended up cutting about 4 inches off and I love it! I also got the chance to spend Saturday afternoon with my Aunt Annette! We went shopping and had lots of fun! I just love my family!
Me & Cami-- She wanted to add some decorations to her room-- so I made these to match her bed spread! It was fun to have a creative project to do while I was visitng! :) Cami and I have the same bed frames-- we love them! :)
This is Cherie moving into her apartment in downtown SLC. The complex had shopping carts you could use to move your stuff in- it was quite entertaining!

Before I left for SLC Anilee and I went swimming one day to get some sun rays! :) I'm loving having some color- thanks to the sun rays in Hawaii. Fun times with friends!
The weekend of Father's Day, our cousins were up from Arizona! So good to see everyone! On monday morning Travis took us wakeboarding at 6 am before he had to go to work! It was so much fun! :)

The Friday and Saturday of Father's day weekend (and right after I got back from Hawaii) Deon, Kelsey, and I went to Salt Lake for Jenny and AJ's wedding! They are some of our good friends from Deon's ward! It was raining the whole day, but the sealing was awesome!

We also went to the Oqquirh Mountain Temple Open House-- it was so cool! I loved it!

Maui

So I love Maui! This was my third time to Maui! There is just something about that island that draws me back! It was such a fun trip. Deon and Amy and I went for a week (this was my happy graduation gift to myself). We had some way good times! We went Kayaking by Makenna Landing! It was so great! Our tour guide "Scuba Steve" was awesome! He took us to some really cool snorkeling spots!

Amy & Steve- He brought up an octopus and put it on our arms!

We swam with Sea Turtles! This is my most favorite thing! We were so close to them- I loved it!

Steve even brought up a few sea urchins for us to hold and look at!
One night we went crab hunting on the beach! We were so excited when we found some really little ones (about the size of a quarter). Deon was the brave one to pick them up! Then on the way back to the hotel-- we found bigger ones, it was awesome! I even held one!

Hiking to the waterfalls right above the seven sacred pools- we also hiked through a bamboo forest.

We got a killer deal on an upgrade to a jeep! Of course we didn't pass that one up!

We went to a Luau at our hotel-- they even had fire dancers-- it was cool! We got fake (paint) tatoos. Deon was great at making crazy faces throughout the whole trip!

Family

The best of times! I love spending time with my family! These are pictures of my cute niece and nephews! And the photos are a little cut off on my page-- so for sure go check out her other stuff- it is awesome!)

Two weekends ago My sis and her hubby were out of town and I got to watch her two cuties! I love spending time with them! It was fun to spend three days with them "playing mommy". We did lots of fun stuff! I love bedtime and reading stories and singing songs! I learned alot about Nascar.com thanks to Rushton! We raced cars and one of Paige's favorites was "running in circles" (it was a hoot!). We went to the park- Paige loved the swings! We went swimming, played basketball, had a tea party, played the Dora matching game, enjoyed Oliva and Max and Ruby and Backyardigans. We made some homemade popcicles (frozen apple juice) (so creative-ha). It was so much fun to just play with these two angels in my life! I realize that being a mom is great and tiring! (I took naps when they did, some days). I just love you Rushton and Paige! :)

Summer...

Let the summer fun begin! I have tried to fit some summer fun into my first few weeks of summer! It has been rather busy though! Here are a few pics of some good times in between unpacking (moving was the week before) my classroom, doing homework (last class), and workship trainings for school. I managed to go to the lake one night and ride my friend angie's wave runner- she is a crazy driver- it was so much fun. Swimming with the Bundy Clan! Playing at the park and simming with Julie and Camille and their cute kids! Ultimate frisbee, Temple, and a little volleyball. Oh and my friends and I had a bet the whole month of May to not eat treats (candy or desserts or anything loaded with sugar). We all made it, so we celbrated with Homemade oreos on June 1st! Yummy!

Random Shopping

These are a few of my random shopping adventures lately. I'm really not much of a shopper, I consider myself pretty thrifty-- I always love a good deal!

This first is a picture of a really random shopping trip lately-- I was looking for something for my friends wedding stuff and instead I walked out with all of this-- which isn't usually what I do-- but all of it was only $43!
*A knife set- which we needed badly
*Art Decoration- (my roommate said it is totally you! And I said because it is a 2!-- for those who will get that just smile! )
*A 4G Memory Card for my Camera
*Laundry Detergent
*3 boxes of Cereal to go bars (for my upcoming trip)
*2 boxes of Pop tarts (also for the trip!)
ALL for a total of $43- I was rather proud! :)

My other shopping adventure wa thanks to my good friend Shanna! She is trying to keep me up on sales and coupons- I need to get into the coupon thing more! :) Walmart had Frosted Mini Wheats on Sale (my most favorite cereal) and it ended up being 50 cents a box with a coupon for each box. I got me 14, my roommate 10, my dad and mom 25, and my other friend 10 boxes. I think I ended up with 66 boxes! It was great! :) I at least stocked up on my cereal for food storage! You can't beat that price!

Lake Trip

FIRST LAKE TRIP OF THE SEASON....
I love going to the lake and go boating! Amy and Jayson were great to take a few of us girls out for the afternoon on Saturday! It was so much fun! We decided it was good thearpy for all of us to chill on the boat, enjoy the sun rays, and play our little hearts out! :) Cami came down for the weekend from up north so we played a ton! I've learned in the past few weeks that dating is always a new adventure, and there is always something to learn from every situation. Dating: sometimes fun and sometimes not fun!- but what is new about that statement- right!
