Bowling with the Friends

It was so nice to have a super long weekend for Labor day. On monday night a group of our friends went bowling! It was such a fun group. I got second place with the whole group! :) It is so fun to have such awesome friends!

An Adventure

Last weekend, the Hansen's were kind enough to take me to the Lake with them! I just love going to the lake! It is one of my most favorite summer activities. Another teacher that teaches 1st grade with me has a classroom mascot "Lily T. Frog" and she got to go on little adventures with all of the teachers this past week, so I took her to the lake. And besides just riding on the boat and soaking up the sun, she even got to surf with Jayson! It was hilarious! :) What a fun weekend with great friends! :)

Back to School

So life has been a little busy as it is Back to School time! :) Here are a few pictures I took at back to school night. This is my first grade team, just love them! We are going to have a great year together. We moved hallways so this is my new classroom... it was hard to move everything but good to clean all my junk out after collecting for 4 years. This is my 5th year teaching--- wow how time flies. It has been great to just focus on work and not worry about homework when I get home! I have a great class this year! I think through all my years I have always been blessed with sweet children and families! :) I just love my job--really!

Last day of Summer

Last weekend (my last day of summer) I got the chance to go to the lake with a group of our friends. It was a way random group, but it turned out to be really fun! We spent the whole day on the lake! It helped my tan of course and it was so fun! Everyone got a chance to wakeboard and then tube!

The water was pretty choppy when it was my turn, but I decided to try and jump the wake anyways. I usually just attempt at jumping the wake and biff it pretty hard! But this time, I actually caught AIR and LANDED it (then biffed it)! I was in shock! You can't really see my face, but I was like... woah-- is this really happening? It was a joyous moment for me! :) Maybe now I'll be more daring when it comes to my wakeboarding skills. I just love the Lake!

The Best Roomies

Kristin- Charise- So we used these two bottom pictures to make a pillow case for Deon when she left! It all started as a joke, but we want her to see our smiling faces every night before she goes to bed! :)

Deon, Kristin, and I have been roomies for the past year! It has been so fun to live together and get to know each other better. We have grown so much together and learned so much from one another. I will never forget these two--ever!! Deon moved up north--- and we will miss her so! But Kristin still gets to put up with me! :)

Pine Valley

We went up to Pine Valley 2 weekends ago and it was so nice! Our friend had a party at his cabin on Saturday night and then the girls stayed at Deon's cabin over night. We went to church up there, it was an awesome awesome Sunday! It was one of Deon's last weekends before she moves up north-- so it was a fun getaway! I'm going to miss that girl! She has been an amazing example and influence in my life! :) Dee- You're the best!

Family Time
