A few weeks ago was Teacher Appreciation week at our school! I want to say Thank You to all my wonderful room moms and parent volunteers! I am truly spoiled! This is my cute bulletin board they made and the kids brought cute things in each day! I even had another room mom send in a cute gift each day like the 12 days of Christmas (but it was the 5 days of Teacher Appreciation week). I feel so loved! Thanks everyone! :)
So I'm a little behind on my updates. A few weeks ago we had a regional singles activity at Warm Springs. It is such a fun place! We played frisbee, had a BBQ, and even a boat race. Each ward made a boat out of cardboard and duct tape-- our ward dominated--of course! It was so much fun, and got me excited for summer fun in the sun!

So this is even just for me to remember! So at Christmas time, I decided to get a new iphone! (and I love it). But that meant changing cell phone services. I canceled my old plan, and it must have been great timing, because my next bill they sent me was 20 cents... I repeat 20 cents. When I got the bill, my first thought was: "you spent more in postage and paper than the cost of my actual bill". (someone wasn't thinking). :) So me and my parents got a good laugh out of it. Well my dad suggests to send the bill back with a quarter taped to it with a note that said "keep the change". So I did just that. ( I figured then a real person would have to handle it and not anything automated. ) Well, the next month rolls around and I get another bill, but this time with a credit of 5 cents! :) I was dying! Really, they sent me another bill (cost of postage and paper) to tell me I had a credit of 5 cents. The picture above is my proof! The next month comes and I get the same bill again! A credit of 5 cents! Wow these people are really smart! :) I haven't seen anything since then, so I'm hoping they figured it out, or they might be loosing some good money on postage and paper! Hey at least it gave me a good laugh--- a few times!
So my Singles Ward decided to have a Recess Night for Family Home Evening about a month ago! We had it at my school and in my classroom. It was so much fun! They did double dutch jump rope, played four square, played red rover, and had sack lunches in the classroom. We were hoping to play heads up 7-up, but didn't have time. It was a blast!
I just love the springtime! The tree blossoms, the warm air, and the birds singing! I love it when the seasons change. I am excited for summer though! The seasons help to think of all the things I am grateful for! Heavenly Father blesses us with so many amazing things! :)
Prez was blessed on March 7, 2010 by her daddy. It was a fun to gather the family for her special day. She is such a sweet baby. We love having her as a part of our family! Julie did the decorating, she is such a great event planner :) and Andee helped me with the cupcakes. I'm so glad we had a chance to celelbrate our little Prez! :)
