So this past week-- I have gone to two concerts that were her at the Sun Bowl. It was fun to hang with the friends both nights! We went to Lady Antabellum and to Secondhand Serenade. Fun summer days! :)
So here is my most favorite picture of these two! My sister Alisha did their photography, so I got to help with the bridals and it was fun to have my sister at all of the wedding stuff too! Shandra's family did most of her planning, they are so cute! It was awesome to see everyone pitch in and help-- and I just feel like I am a part of her family-- just love them (and Shanny)!
I did her guest book and got some pictures, but I'm going to have to get more pics from the reception from Alisha.. but here are a few I got!
So this past weekend, July 17th and 18th, I kind of turned into a wedding planner! It has been way fun... but it was a super busy weekend! Now I know how my sister feels when she does a wedding! :) (Julie you are the best!) Lacee and Robbie got married on the 17th and Shandra and Jason got married on the 18th. I was bad at taking pictures at both weddings since I was busy helping, but both days were awesome!
Cindee, Lacee's friend, and I did everything for her wedding. We kept it simple, but I thought it turned out nice. It was a huge gym to work with, but Robbie's mom had her work donate the greenery-- to that helped a ton! We did white roses for center pieces and limes in vases for the other ones! I made her guest book with her sister in law, Lacy, but I didn't even get pics of that.
Kelsey & Kristin
All of our friends pitched in to help with deserts!
I loved the color matched sugar cookies - I just had to order those! :)
The picture table-- it is kind of blurry- I think it was the lighting!
Cindee made these for the backdrop-- but we used them on the stage instead. I helped her do some of the painting, but I'll have to give her most of the credit- they turned out great !
Kristin, Deon, Amy, and I went to Zions one night to do some hikes when Deon got off of work. It was so fun. We did the overlook hike and also hiked by some pools. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful place close by! :) We had fun swimming in the water, catching froggies, and singing songs! We are quite the bunch-- when together! :)
Officially done! So This is a tiny update-- but huge moment for me! Last night I finished all of my Masters homework for my last class! So I am done with homework--forever! :) Wow two crazy busy years of my life! I am so glad I was able to get my degree (lots of hard work and $ later)! Thanks everyone for putting up with me in the past few years! :) YEAH!!!!
Here is an update on my life since Maui... it has been quite eventful and busy! :) This is june from the bottom up! Just keep on scrolling- sorry its long! For the fourth of July I went up to Pinto to Amy's Cabin and spent the day with her cute family! It was so nice and relaxing up there. I had to keep avoiding the water balloons- thanks to Jayson. The kids played in the water and it was just lots of fun! I love spending time with the Hafen's-- my second family. Then I ate dinner with Alisha and Jer and the kids! Then my friends gathered to watch the fireworks at the park.

The Hansen Family- So cute! Amy, Aiden, & Jayson
Paige wanted to sing! So she grabbed the guitar and was singing away-- it was so adorable!
I went to Salt Lake for the weekend and spent some time with good friends and helped Cherie move up there! It was a great weekend. I played lots with Cami and met lots of fun people up there. We saw an awesome fireworks show in Taylorsville! I visited Nicole (Marshall was at work) and she cut my hair! :) She ended up cutting about 4 inches off and I love it! I also got the chance to spend Saturday afternoon with my Aunt Annette! We went shopping and had lots of fun! I just love my family! Me & Cami-- She wanted to add some decorations to her room-- so I made these to match her bed spread! It was fun to have a creative project to do while I was visitng! :) Cami and I have the same bed frames-- we love them! :) This is Cherie moving into her apartment in downtown SLC. The complex had shopping carts you could use to move your stuff in- it was quite entertaining!
Road trip! Cherie & Reese
Before I left for SLC Anilee and I went swimming one day to get some sun rays! :) I'm loving having some color- thanks to the sun rays in Hawaii. Fun times with friends! The weekend of Father's Day, our cousins were up from Arizona! So good to see everyone! On monday morning Travis took us wakeboarding at 6 am before he had to go to work! It was so much fun! :)

The Friday and Saturday of Father's day weekend (and right after I got back from Hawaii) Deon, Kelsey, and I went to Salt Lake for Jenny and AJ's wedding! They are some of our good friends from Deon's ward! It was raining the whole day, but the sealing was awesome!
We also went to the Oqquirh Mountain Temple Open House-- it was so cool! I loved it!
So I love Maui! This was my third time to Maui! There is just something about that island that draws me back! It was such a fun trip. Deon and Amy and I went for a week (this was my happy graduation gift to myself). We had some way good times! Here are a few of my favorite pics-- I have more loaded on facebook if you want to check them out! If you don't have facebook-- I can email you a link to see the ones on there.
We went Kayaking by Makenna Landing! It was so great! Our tour guide "Scuba Steve" was awesome! He took us to some really cool snorkeling spots!
Amy & Steve- He brought up an octopus and put it on our arms!
We swam with Sea Turtles! This is my most favorite thing! We were so close to them- I loved it!
Steve even brought up a few sea urchins for us to hold and look at! One night we went crab hunting on the beach! We were so excited when we found some really little ones (about the size of a quarter). Deon was the brave one to pick them up! Then on the way back to the hotel-- we found bigger ones, it was awesome! I even held one!
Sunsets are the best!
Hiking to the waterfalls right above the seven sacred pools- we also hiked through a bamboo forest.
We got a killer deal on an upgrade to a jeep! Of course we didn't pass that one up!
We went to a Luau at our hotel-- they even had fire dancers-- it was cool! We got fake (paint) tatoos. Deon was great at making crazy faces throughout the whole trip!
Big beach! Deon and Amy!
Me chillin with my hawaii juice on big beach!
Bayan tree in Lahina
Snorkeling at the beach right by our hotel. Which we stayed at the Waliea Marriott resort and spa! It was amazing! :)
