Change...

Change is sometimes good! Wow you never know what life brings. My cute dad told me that change is sometimes as good as a rest! About the middle of March my principal asked if I would be interested in teaching Kindergarten next year. I gave it some thought and decided to do it! I'm sad to leave my awesome first grade team, but excited to work with Melissa who was on my team last year! I do not have my early childhood endorsement so I am going back to school this summer (and will hopefully be done by the end of next summer) with the endorsement. I'm excited for a new challenge (teaching kindergarten) but I'm not too excited to have homework again! (I thought I was finished with that when my Masters Degree was finished). I guess I'm crazy, because I'm doing more school!

Good luck with your new adventure! I "get" to switch grade levels and subjects as well. :) HOPEFULLY my homework will end in January though...That's definitely the downfall...

Love your dad's quote: sometimes change is as good as rest.

Those kindergarteners are so lucky!

Also, you'll have so much education and experience that soon you'll be the principal!

I always loved teaching Kindergarten. But preschool has been my dream teaching job since I get to decide my own hours, lesson plans, and students, including having my own two kiddos in my class. :) It's been awesome!

I know you will be outstanding in any classroom at any level, Charise! You were born to be a teacher. Good luck, friend!
